Would it be possible to return the PSU that you have acquired.
Has the computer ever been overclocked or any attempt at O/Cing been made.

Not sure that it is a MB problem as it not something normally associated with a black screen, unless a memory or video card slot is getting hot that is.
Did you clean off the old thermal paste off the CPU and heatsink correctly and then apply a fresh amount.
It is getting late here in the UK so I will be going offline shortly I`m afraid.
Which pins did you bend.A few months ago i broke processor socket(i ve bend the pins)

I am sorry to hear that your video card is bad
It is possibly no coincidence that two video cards have expired prematurely using the same PSU so at least you know that you have a new and stable PSU to support your new video card.
As an asides I decided years ago that I would never again purchase a MB that did not have an integrated video chip and this was brought about by the same problem that you have had, a bad video card but no way to prove that it is bad without having a spare known working video card for testing purposes.
Well done to you and your friend for allowing you to borrow their video card
You are welcome btw and be sure to let us know what video card you decide upon or if you have any further questions.
