Follow the instructions below to run a SFC scan on your system:
  • On Windows Vista & 7, click on the Windows Start Menu, then enter cmd in the search box, right-click on the cmd icon and select Run as Administrator
  • On Windows 8, drag your cursor in the bottom-left corner, and right-click on the metro menu preview, then select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • On Windows 8.1, right click on the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner and select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • Enter the command sfc /scannow (there's a space between "sfc" and "/scannow") and press on Enter;
  • Let the scan run until the end (100%), then copy/paste in your next reply the message that is returned after;

it says windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations

Alright that's good. Now, right-click on the Internet Explorer 11 executable file that you downloaded and select Run as Administrator and try to install it. Let me know if it works or not.

Alright. Sometimes, Internet Explorer 11 will only install in Safe Mode, it happened a few times at work so let's try this for you. Boot in Safe Mode with Networking, by following the instructions here:

Then try to install Internet Explorer 11 again, by executing the file with Admin Rights.

I did all that and I installed ie 11 said it installed it and restarted my computer. Checked the version and it said ie 9 still and I am still getting the script errors

If you go in Safe Mode and look at the Internet Explorer version, is it 9 or 11?

Alright, can you re-check for Windows Updates like instructed on page #15? Let me know if more Important Updates are found, or even Recommended Updates.

This is it. Install the "Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems" update. Once it's done, check for updates again, but this time, install "Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems". We'll install it via the Windows Updates way, alright?
