You don't need that browser extension if it causes you issues, there's others that can replace it such as Web of Trust, HTTPS Everywhere, uBlock/uBlock Origin, etc.

My lap top is on a go slow now. The pages are taking forever to load

Is the whole system slow, or only the web browsers and webpages?

Like is opening programs slow, is changing windows slow, is playing games slow, etc.

pages are slow, also when I click a tab to open something  it takes ages to open . I have done all my scans and theres no threats

Alright, follow the instructions below please.

MiniToolBox

• Download MiniToolBox and move the executable file to your Desktop;
• Right-click on MiniToolBox.exe and select Run as Administrator;
• Check the following options:
  • Flush DNS;
  • Report IE Proxy Settings;
  • Reset IE Proxy Settings;
  • Report FF Proxy Settings;
  • Reset FF Proxy Settings;
  • List content of Hosts;
  • List IP Configuration;
  • List Last 10 Event Viewer Errors;
  • List Installed Programs;
  • List Devices - Only Problems;
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size;
    
• Once this is done, click on Go and wait for the scan to complete;
• Once the scan is complete, a log will open. Please copy/paste the content of the output log in your next reply;
