In device manager I see

Nvidia High Def Audio

Nvidia Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)

VIA High Def Audio

When I dsiable The VIA, the Nvidia won't kick on and thee is no sound, does it piggy back on the integrated?

I want to only use The Nvidia one and I am fearing they are both on.

Sometimes I get a quite high pitch grinding in some games.
