how to know if such a file were copied or no, and how to disable that

 I need to ask how can I know if somefile on my usb were copied by other and how many copy of it available out there
 
cause my friend took my usb and I forgot important file without removing it .. 
 
I found this one on internet http://www.makeuseof...ssed-usb-drive/
 
but there is no answer
 
and on the other hand
 
how to disable that feature

Windows doesn't keep a record of how many times a file has been copied.

I know of no way to determine how many times any given file, on any type of media, has been copied under Windows.  It doesn't matter what the source media happens to be.
