frozen screen on galaxy core prime

I dropped my galaxy core prime. I do have it in a case. the screen has frozen. I tried a soft reset but it did not work. help

Try removing the battery for a minute (verify that the sim card hasn't shifted) then put it back in and see if it will wake up.
