Hello pcme,
You will need Windows 7 media and a product key to be able to format and reinstall Windows and having read your malware thread we are aware that you have neither, this could be a problem for you depending on the answers to the following questions;
Is the computer a brand name such as Dell or HP etc or is it a custom build.
If yes to the above, was Windows 7 pre installed on the computer or an upgrade, if no, who did install Windows 7 and what type of media was used, an OEM disc, a full retail disc, a burned copy or a downloaded ISO.
The reason why I have asked the above questions is to determine whether or not you are eligible for support from Microsoft as in be allowed to download a Windows 7 ISO direct from them, if the Windows 7 product key that was used for the present installation is volume licence key (VLK) that was used by an OEM brand like Acer, Dell or HP etc then you would need to purchase recovery media from them (if available this would be less expensive than purchasing a new disc and product key from MS) if the key used was for an OEM system builders disc then the person that installed Windows 7 on the computer is responsible for support, Microsoft will not allow you to download an ISO if either of the last two scenarios apply, it may be possible to obtain your product key from within the Windows config folder but when you are asked to enter the product key as part of the download process Microsoft will detect it is an OEM key and deny you the downloaded ISO, let us know if you would like to check this for yourself though.
If your computer came pre installed with Windows 7 there may be an appropriate Microsoft product key sticker somewhere on the computer, desktops are often on the side or rear by the PSU (power supply unit) and notebooks on the base or beneath the main power brick
Additional question, have you been dual booting XP and Windows 7.
A couple of observations from your malware thread, your C: drive free storage space are shown as the following;
Reply #2 = 2.89GB
Reply #6 = 33.02GB
Replies #28, 29 and 36 = 2.99GB.
The very low 2.89/2.99GB of free storage space is what has caused the damage here as in it looks like Windows 7 has become corrupted and the 33.02GB unless I have lost the plot looks like a different operating system.
hello phillpower2,

Hello pcme,
Be happy to help but we could do with the answers to the questions in my reply #2 and for the reasons explained, alternatively, can you borrow Windows 7 media that is the same as yours ( Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 (X86) Language: English (United States) )

Helping people recover product keys is not an every day occurrence and in a lot of cases we are unable to help as we have no way of knowing if the person asking is the legitimate owner of the computer, from your work with emeraldnzl we can see that yours is a legitimate case.
From your malware thread;
Have you tried changing the boot order to see if you can boot from Disk: 1, if you can it may help with obtaining your Windows 7 product key, a word to the wise though, if you are able to boot into XP, avoid any internet connection as being that XP is now unsupported it is deemed a security risk.
hello phillpower2,
yes i try to boot from dsik 1 results "no boot device available"
my sick computer is a dell optiplex
there is no way for me to know who install windows 7 or or what type of media was used since i bought this computer
a few years ago from a small computer repair place that is been closed.
thank you.
Have you checked the case for a Windows 7 product key sticker.
You may well find that Microsoft will not allow you to download a Windows 7 ISO but no harm in trying, if you can obtain your product key that is, use Puppy Linux again and see the tutorial How to Recover Windows and Software Keys from a Broken Computer
