Hi,
Please post the brand and model of the machine.
How did you restore the laptop?
Do you have the same Windows version as before?
No actually was running Windows 10 and restored from factory reset on hard drive that was Windows 8

Do you want to install Windows 10 again?
yes
In that case I suggest you download Windows 10 from Microsoft to a Flash drive or DVD and install.
If you install the exact same edition you had before, Windows 10 will auto activate when gain access to the Microsoft servers.
Hi, I started the install of Windows 10 and it is now hung up on the HP load screen after rebooting during setup.
Hi,
Hi can't get install to finish seems to be hung up. Should I reset and try again?
Sorry for the delay. If you don't have any documents and programs to keep on the machine I suggest you install Windows 10 fresh by removing everything instead of doing an upgrade.
