My computer is saying i have low disk space.

Hi, As I said, it's saying low disk space. I went through my C drive and uninst a bunch of things and it made no difference. I went to C/properties and it shows, after I dumped a bunch, no disk space, it says I'm out of space. Stands to my way of thinking it should have made a difference after dumping.! That round circle did not give me even an small teeny pie wedge. Thank you in advance. Stumped
