Hi. I'm curious as to whether there is actually any difference in picture quality between 4K blu ray players? I've read online that as long as the player isn't doing anything it shouldn't, like adding post effects, there shouldn't be. But then I've also read reviews claiming X players picture quality is better than Y players.

For context, I already own an Xbox One S which I use for playing 4K blu rays on my Samsung KS7000. But I want to be sure I'm getting the best picture quality I can. So will I notice a difference with a good standalone player or is the Xbox as good as any other player? For reference, I'm looking at the Panasonic UB400.

The Xbox is listed in this list. My question was rather is there a difference in picture quality for 4K HDR playback between all of those players?
