Hi All,

Hope someone can help me find out if I've shaken the malware that seems to have taken up residence on my computer...

Here is what happened:

McAfee firewall warned me that EMAKESV.exe was trying to access the internet. I denied it, and looked it up on google. the page I found said to end any processes, delete the file, and delete any files called STATUS.MPF. I did this. But STATUS.MPF kept getting re-created every time I boot up.

I then ran Panda ActiveScan, which removed 3 things (I can't remember what they were though).

I ran AdAware SE, which also removed a few things.

I ran TrojanHunter, which removed 3 things.

I ran CW Shredder, which found nothing.

I ran SpyBot, which removed thing.

I ran Ewido, which removed 2 things (ntcpl.exe and DummyX.dll)

I ran TrendMicro's House Call, which found nothing.

I ran TDS3, which reported three suspicious file names.
