Output audio jack no longer working or shutting off when audio jack is inserted.  Whether or not an audio male jack is inserted or not audio sounds still resonate from PC speakers.

Make sure you have installed all the proper drivers provided by Lenovo.

 

The other day I found a laptop with the same behavior, by updating the drivers/software the system start detecting the connection of the jack and a software pop-up appears asking about the type of device connected, without selection the proper answer the headphones didn't work...

 

Initially the software pop-up didn't appear at all.

Lenovo was the best PC forme after Apple, but I noticed that there is always problem with audio jack and audio features in common.
