[Local Spiderman]

Recently I downloaded the game Mordhau for the PC via steam, but while playing the game the quality is just a bit poor. I tried also playing against bots (not online) and I am still experiencing the same issue, just constant lagging. I also lowered the in-game specifications to the lowest, still lagged.

 

Please can someone help me?

 

My laptop:

AMD Quad-Core Processor A10-7300 with Turbo CORE Technology up to 3.20GHz
AMD Radeon R6 Graphics
16 GB DDR3 L Memory
500GB HDD

While I can not tell you if there's anything to do to make it run a bit better, your laptop's specs are certainly way less than the Minumum System Requirements.

 

While bancmarks aren't everything, the following compasrisons (between the Minuum System Requirements number and what you have) will give you an idea of how far off you are:

Do you know if it's possible for me to upgrade the CPU and graphics card in my laptop or will I have to buy a completely new device?

Unfortunately it is not possible to upgrade either of them.

 

And a laptop (specs are based on a desktop) that would be meeting the required specs you posted would not run cheap. The cheapest I was able to find is this refurbised MSI GV62 for $618.

Unfortunately and unlike desktops, laptops are almost impossible to upgrade (except for ram and hdd/ssd).
You might want to check if it's possible to get a gaming laptop for your needs, specially if you want to have your games with you everywhere you go and don't want to have a desktop computer.

But take in account that if you want a cheaper and easier to upgrade route, a desktop is the way to go.
