Hi there,

I got a TV and a monitor connected to each other with a hdmi cable. It worked fine for many month. I used to be able to access the TV while playing a game. I have it set up in a way that if I go to the upper right corner, the mouse can switch to the TV. The projection setting on windows 10 is extended. In the display settings menu monitor 2 is at the bottom and monitor 1 is basically hovering in the air to the right. They're not overlapping each other. My PC monitor is the main monitor which is showing all the desktop links, while the TV is basically just showing the wallpaper. I used it to watch things on youtube while playing a game for example. It all worked perfectly well. Now, it only kinda works. Instead of just moving the cursor to access things on the TV, I have to minimize the game to be able to reach the TV. In other words, the extended monitor only works for windows and not for other applications (the same ones it used to work for before, except for maybe very old DOS-games). I don't know what's going on. I was trying to use a capture card recently and switched the cables around a bit while experimenting. Now the capture card is not connected anymore but for some reason things are different. Also I have to manually set the input to hdmi (port 2) everytime I turn on the TV. It used to remember that setting. That might be a different source of error though. Not sure. Does it matter which one is set as the main monitor? Could that be the source of the confusion?

Can anybody help? Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
