Couple of questions;

Was the above with the AC adapter powering the notebook.

Does your computer have one or two storage device, a HDD + an SSD for example.

Do you have boot media on a USB flashdrive, a Windows 10 ISO would be best as it is only for temporary use.

Have you tried accessing the BIOS by holding down the Fn and the D key when you power up the notebook.

We need someone that is versed in Zorin now because I unfortunately am not, one test would be to remove the SSD and put Zorin on the HDD for testing purposes.

My suspicions are that the 250GB NVME SSD is either faulty or loose in the slot, the only other thing that it could be is the drive being full but being that you are not runnng Windows this would normally be less likely, if there is 30GB or more of free space available on the SSD data corruption is also less likely.

Hey,

I've got 537 MB of free space on the SSD. It only contains the OS. As to the Boot Medium: I back everything up on BU, a program written by Joe Collins (EasyLinux, YouTube) and I believe it saves the entire OS including files, and software packages. But I've never used it so not sure. I also have Timeshift (like Windows Restore), installed which takes snapshots of the system to aid in recovery. Again, up and working, but I've never tried it.

Would creating a Boot Medium at this juncture be of any use?

And is there a way to enter the BIOS Setup without shutting down? I generally use f2 on boot up.

Much thanks,

Bry

If that number is correct it could well be your problem, not sure what your OS needs but Windows for example would need a minimum of 25GB of free storage space on a 250GB SSD, once the space gets below 10% data corruption and storage device failure can occur.

No way to enter the BIOS other than from shutdown I`m afraid.

Zorin OS apparently takes up 4GB of space. My SSD has 250GB. Did I miss read something? The Clevo has been operating for several years without issue until suddenly, NOW! Something's changed. Here's a screenshot of the drive from Discs:

Unless urgent can I ask that you do not double/multi post, some days I get 100+ emails to read and there is nothing worse than being mid way through typing a reply but then having to stop to see what was added  :(

Your picture is showing the information for partition one and not partition two.

Yes, the motherboard.

Not sure what you mean by the above.

You missed answering the above.
