Hello,

I've got a Windows 7 machine that has seen better days, and I moved on to a more up-to-date Windows a few years back.

But I'm now trying to get all my old files and documents off the Windows 7 machine before it goes to the recycling centre.

The problem is that as well as being very slow (and requiring an external keyboard because its own keyboard is now unresponsive), every time I try to open a folder it just asks if I'm sure I want to delete it or not.

It then either gives me about 50 pop-up windows asking me the same thing - and I have click on each one to close it - or it goes ahead and deletes it anyway.

I've tried things like making sure the mouse driver is up to date, but don't know what else (if anything) I can do.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot!
