That isnt one of the three Intel Smart Sound options I have. I get Intel® Smart Sound Technology BUS, Detection Verification, and OED.

OK.  Maybe the top driver isn't the correct one on your PC.  Is there a second Intel driver under audio?  Try it on that one.

In the system devices folder its just the three items that I mentioned in my last post. In the sound, video, and games folder I have: Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio, Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio, and Realtek Audio. I am attaching a screenshot of the two sections.sounddrivers.jpg

OK.  See what date and version you have for the Realtek.  Realtek has had a lot of problems keeping up with the Windows updates.

See if solution 3 or 4 does anything:

https://www.systweak... Driver Updater.

I do not recommend Solution 2.

What is the make and model of your PC?

Appears there is a new version of your Realtek audio driver:

See if you can get it to install:

The realtek driver was one of the updates. I listened some music after the update and it seemed fine.

Right click on FRST64.exe and rename it to uninstall.exe.  Then right click on uninstall.exe and Run as Admin.

If we installed Latency Monitor or Crystal Disk  you can go to Settings, Apps and uninstall them   UseBenchmark is a bit odd.  It doesn't really install  You can right click on the shortcut on the desktop and select Open File Location.  This should open File Explorer to the file.  (If you can't see it In File Explorer, click on View then check Hidden Items. )   Click on Roaming at the top and it will move you back to the next higher folder but should still have the UserBenchmark folder highlighted.  Delete the UserBenchMark folder then close File Explorer and delete the desktop shortcut.  (Or you can just delete the shortcut if you don't want to bother with it)

Process Explorer and its logs, VEW and its log and Latency monitor logs (and screenshots) can just be deleted.
