I think I got if fixed but, when I went to burn some CD's, first iTunes copied like normal but, when I went to play the CD's, they were empty. I thought maybe iTunes was corrupted from the virus so, I repaired it (add/remove programs) but, that didn't help. So, I tried Nero.

Now it doesn't even acknowlege a blank CD in the drive so I can't do anything.
My hardware profile states that it is working normally so, I'm at a loss!!!

Just an update, the only thing that will view in that drive (regardless of which program I try) are DVD's. I put one in and they detect and play automatically. Nothing else will play or even be detected in that drive.

I have a second drive on my computer (not DVD/RW.. just a plain ol' CD ROM) and it works perfectly fine.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver to no avail. In my hardware profile, it says it's running normally.

Any ideas?
