Welcome back. Another geek may be able to answer that question, but in the meantime, why don't we look at your system with a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.
Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

Have you checked to see if there's a BIOS or driver update for your motherboard?

Also in the bubble it says:
Usb device not recognized. One of the usb ports has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it....? I never touch my usb ports and I am postive no device is hooked up to them.
