whats the best program to use to record your voice with a karaoke version of a song mixed in? ive got "logic hit kit" and its ok. also, are there any progrsms that let you rip the vocals out of an mp3 so ur just left with the tune?

sometimes i use Acoustica Audio Mixer which can be downloaded for free on Downloads.com

it has a record function and you can save at various qualities (bitrates) - i find it works very well

Well the best audio recording program that I use is Cubase SX3, but it's not free..

Free audio recorder is Audacity 1.2.3.. you can download by clicking on 'Audacity 1.2.3'
