hi,

A friend of mine had a whole bunch of trojans,worms and virusses due to downloading "brad pitt pictures" :tazz:

I solved most of the problems with a lot of virusscans, adaware, spy sweeper, ewido,...

The only thing I can't get to work again is her internet connection and since she only has 1 pc i can't post anything...

Can someone try to help?

See if you can right click the connection and select repair

Download winsockxpfix to your PC from here

Save to disc then load it on

Remove the connection, then make a new connection

Ask the ISP for their modem set up page to reset it
