I'd like to know if "pop ups" are included in the list of temporary internet files. Or is it strictly sites you have visited?

Thats where malware comes in! Pop-Ups consist of pages you visit for eg: of you go to a Emoticon download site you would usually get an emoticon pop-up unless their sponsor takes charge! Malware can totally change on what pops and whats stopped! Like Hijackers they hijack a certain page(likely to be your homepage) and pop up with links to their sites! Hope this helps! You can always clear up unwanted files like cookies and temp files using a good tool like CleanUp! ot CCleaner!
