Also, consider upgrading your heatsink and adding another case fan or two.

Yep, I like to recommend this for removing pads they can be hard to get off and as the card is plastic you won't scratch the hs or cpu die

Sometimes its hard to get the whole card in there to scrape the cpu die if you are working with the mobo still in the case witch is most of the time thats why I say a piece :tazz:

I did what you told me and on top of that i swapped cases for the comp. (i didn't trust that old power supply)
