No adds, no restrictions... Opera is no finally a free browser. And thank goodness. I never really could understand why people had to pay for it. True it's a software, but they could not possibly expect to compete with Firefox, Mozilla, or IE if people had to pay to get rid of ads.

Of course, they still have the "premium support" where people have to pay $30.

Wow, awesome. Thanks for the link. As a web developer, this helps a lot (plus, it's great to be able to recommend more than just Firefox and Mozilla for a safe browser).

The new Version 8.5 released as free also has several changes/updates and is a recommended security update.

I like opera, but a lot of websites do not support it, so things do not always look as they should.

True It depends what you wanna do with it.

I would use IE for email and such and opera just for browsing.

Well I got Opera! I dont like the 'feel' because Im use to FireFox but Im sure I will like it eventually!
