Yeah, give me the Ewido log then. I asked for it earlier but don't recall getting it from you though. Run the scan in Safe Mode... Restart and give me the saved report.

I think that there is something wrong with my safe mode, because it consistently freezes up. This time it froze when I tried to save the Ewido Scan results after a 6-hour scan! Neither the mouse nor the keyboard worked.

Luckily, I had quarantined as the scan went along. The scan found four problems. Please let me know if I incorrectly quarantined anything and I will restore it. Here they are (I'm typing them out because ewido quarantine doesn't allow you to copy text):

Those entries you typed out are not really harmful. They belong to WeatherBug which is an adware program. If you like that program and want to keep it, you may.

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. Restart your computer and uncheck the same box to enable System Restore.

See if you can run any scans now without any freeze-ups.

Ok, great. Thanks for all of your help! I'll just keep weatherbug deleted I think.

I did turn off the system restore feature when I first started trying to fix this problem. I think that if you think it looks clean, I'll stop while I'm ahead.
