I've posted in the Windows XP part of the forum about me having my pc rebuilt by a guy and i'm a little paranoid that he has put in a spyware gadget of some kind in my computer. How can i check if he has ?

I would really appreciate any info you have on this subject.

We'll see if HijackThis can detect something, but run the other scans first if you haven't done so yet. Keep in mind that there may be programs that are stealth and won't be listed in the running processes. But let's see what HijackThis can find.

What makes you think anything was installed in the first place though?

Please read the first link in my signature and follow the steps outlined there. When you are ready, post the HijackThis log here.
