Received a request by E-Mail, supposely from my Internet Service Provider, to extract certain files, which I did. Come to find out (too late) that it was probably from some one who had too much idle time on
their hands.
Can these extracted files be retrieved? Or what can be done to correct my problem.
System Restore is now blank also, so this will not help.

Thank you,
Terrible Tom

You can do a restore back to a date before this happened. If that doesn't work use your cd-rom to run a repair.

Hi Tyger;

Thanks for your quick reply. My System Restore has lost all info. and the CD to reinstall is older then the Windows XP that I have.
Thanks for trying.
