I have recently been getting pop-ups in Internet Explorer regarding a program called Win Fixer. It comes up with a box saying Win Fixer can help registry problems, "freezes, and crashes". If this box is left then eventually Internet Explorer goes to a website to do with Win Fixer and the computer crashes. Is there any way I can fix this problem?

P.S. I have already tried using Spybot S&D, AVG, Ad-Aware and CW Shredder, with no result.

First you need to move HijackThis to it's OWN, PERMANENT folder so it can make/keep backups..(EG. C:\HijackThis stuff\HijackThis.exe)

I'll Also recommend you go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Messenger3 as it may contain Spyware and will allow spyware on to your computer. There are better alternatives but if you INSIST on using it we can reinstall it so it won't add spyware.

Please print these instructions out or save a copy in Notepad for use in Safe Mode.

Please download VundoFix© to your desktop.

• Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files
• This will create a VundoFix© folder on your desktop.
• After the files are extracted, please reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.
• Once in safe mode open the VundoFix© folder and doubleclick on KillVundo.bat
• You will first be presented with a warning.
  It should look like this

• At this point press enter one time.
  
• Next you will see:
