My stepson just bought a 60Gb iPod Nano. We heard that QuickTime Pro could convert videos to the iPod format for downloading. We bought the program, but there are no instructions on how to take a DVD and convert it to the iPod.

Does anyone have any instructions on how to:
1) Rip a DVD to the hard drive
2) Convert the DVD to the iPod format
3) Download to the iPod

The first is the most critical. If I can get this figured out, I can probably work out the rest.

Thank you

Sorry mate, Cant help you on step one because it could cause trouble for geekstogo and myself,

2 and 3 - there are many sites that explain this, you can buy videos from itunes online (maybe the official ipod site has instructions?)

Check out this, this and this:
http://www.apple.com/ipod/
http://www.apple.com/itunes/videos/
http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/
