[Phishy Fish]

I keep seeing brief pop-up messages saying something about "Preparing Windows Installer" but they disappear as soon as I see them. Once this happened when I had Task Manager open and DocProc.exe appeared, disappeared and msjter.exe appeared.
What do these programs do? Do they have anything to do with the Windows Installer messages?

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
