hi, warcraft III gives me this error when i try to run the game, "The ordinal 569 could not be located in the dynamic link library storm.dll." and then after i press ok its says "warcraft III failed to run. Please make sure your warcraft III disk is in your cd-rom drive, then click on 'retry'."

i tried copying another storm.dll and replacing the one thats there but it still gave me the error.

can someone please help?!?!?!?!?!?!?

This happened to me with diablo 2(another blizzard product).

Seems that DLL is made for blizzard games. Google it and download it, then extract it(I found mine zipped) into the directory that contains all of your DLLs.

I forget the exact directory, but I think it is something along the lines of.

C:/windows/system32

I believe. Anyways, that worked for me after it prompted me for another DLL, I did the same thing with that and bam, I could play again.

If someone could give me a copy of their storm.dll, i'd really appreciate it because I keep getting these files that are in different sizes and I want one that actually works. THNX.

Do you have the latest patch installed?
Have you modified the game with unofficial patches, hacks or cracks?

ACTUALLY I CAN'T FIND THE LATEST PATCH, AND THERE IS THIS CRACK THAT I FOUND AND WHEN I COPY IT IT MAKES NO CHANGES :tazz:. IF YOU COULD GIVE ME A LINK TO WHERE I COULD GET THE PATCH I'LL TRY IT AND SEE IF THAT FIXES IT.
