Bad news. When I used the power supply on the computer I'm using now on the broken one, it still did the same thing as it did before. Gah, the frustration. I really don't know what to make of all this anymore.

Okay, new information. So I plugged the power supply of the broken computer into the one that I'm using to make this post, and it says that the operating system was not found. I plug in the normal power supply for this computer and now I'm making this post. Conclusion: my power supply is broken for the other PC? - or am I assuming too much?

Did you plufg the power supply molex into the drive, too. While the motherboard connection will power up the system, it will not run the drive.

Given your added posts, it sounds like a fried CPU, or bad motherboard
