What do mean by making an .iso? Do you mean a straight data DVD of the avi files or are you trying to make a video DVD?

.iso is for compresion or booting disk you can put file inside an iso like you can put files on .zip but you need a program to do that so yes you can put avi to an iso

Well I use Nero then I go to photo and dvd. After that I click make your own dvd video. Then you just add the file make your own background and burn it to a dvd.
