Hello azha,

i'm not quite sure whats going on. When you say that you have reinstalled oit several times do you mean you just reinstall it or do you remove it buy going to add/remove programs and then install it again. This method is much better. If you have already done this method or you need me to be more spacific please send another post. Also there is another instant messaging program called Trillian that works great and can access a bunch of different companies such as YM, MSN to name a few. You could give this a try if you want.

Trillian is good.. but you might not be able to utilize the other features of YM, especially if ur friend(s) are using it...
What firewall software are you using?
you could have block it by accident...
