Browser won't connect PC has connection

My wireless connected pc says it sees the connection but will not connect to the browser
I'm using a Airplus G D-link G510, the signal strength is at the max. Acitivity display says packets sent
are going out Received number changes slowly. I can't figure it out. Please HELP
