Download These Drivers and save them to your desktop. Double click on the zip file to unpack it, then double click on the file setup.exe and follw the prompts to install the drivers. Choose "Yes" when prompted to reboot.

Try to adjust the settings once the machine has restarted.

Ok...let's take a look at some other possibilities.

First...does your System Restore open now? :whistling: If it does, are there any old restore points?

Can you see your files from the previous installation?

System restore will open now :whistling: but there are no old restore points. I'm not sure what you mean about the files showing from a previous installation. If you mean my documents and pictures from before they are all there. But still fuzzy.

Let's go back into Device Manager. Locate and select you video adapter, right click on it, and choose "Properties". Under the "Driver" tab, click the "Update Driver" button. Let the Wizard search for the driver...if it asks for a location to look, point it to C:\Windows\System 32\Drivers.

Let me know if it finds the drivers or not.

Well then...

Let's see if the Intel drivers will install. Go to This Page and download the drivers for the 845G Chipset...these will be the third set fom the top. Download and install the drivers from the first two columns

Have a look at This Page and give the procedure a try.

Sorry about my sporatic posting this weekend...it's graduation time at the university here and as head of security at three local malls, it has been a very hectic couple of days. :whistling:
