Try browsing to:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\msinfo32.exe

double click that, if you can find it...

:whistling:

The info has nothing to do with a new or old computer. Any windows XP installation should be able to get that info.

I find this very odd:
Location: C:\WINDOWSW\SP /PID: 76487-016-4230642-22120 / HOT FIX: KB918439

since there are no system files there
Your system files seem to be in the c:\programs\ folder

I don't understand, what do I need to do if this is all wrong. I was hoping this was going to be something simple. But I have notice that my excel does not work on my bookkepping now, I cannot pull up the income or the payouts anymore.

I would certainly make a backup of all your important files.
Perhaps others might have better suggestions, but I would recommend a windows repair or even a complete new installation.

Sorry that I have not been on my computer for a couple of days, trying to repair it. I tired to do a repair, but it just wanted to restore, but everthing had been deleted out, my oldest son found my duplicate finder program and thought he would try it out. That is what happend to my autoexec.nt folder, it was empty. I had to reinstall xp all together. Thank you for your help, and hope you will help me again when I need it.
You all are a GOD send to people like me. Thank you all very much.
