Thanks for the info Ron - will be investigating at a later date - would be interested in any reports on how IE8 does if there are any Geeks that are gonna test it ;-)

I downloaded the Beta.
Upon restart, my icons where messed up, the clock and calander on my sidebar where realy messed up, and when I logged on to this site I could hardly tell what I was looking at because it was out of wack.
I removed I.E. 8 Beta.

I've got it on a Vista Home Premium machine. Seems to work ok, but it's pretty slow.

No other problems.........yet.

Might run IE 8 through the new acid three test to see how it does.

Even Firefox, closest CSS2 standards compliant browser, didn't pass the acid two text and it certainly didn't pass the acid three test. :)
