Hi everybody,
I am trying to access the web setup page for my Linksys router but I can't login.
From what I got from other websites and forums is that Linksys routers all have the default IP address http://192.168.1.1, but mine doesn't appear to have this one. I checked my Default Gateway Ip using the command prompt and it doesn't even resemble http://192.168.1.1. I tried resetting the router for 30 seconds and unplugging the router for 60 seconds, but I still have the the same IP address and not the default address that should be there.
When I use the Default Gateway that was shown in my command prompt, it does ask me for my username and password but I can't log in.
I really need some help.Please!!!!!
BTW. I am using a wireless setup, is that why I can't access it?&&0
try changing you IP address . if still facing issue call the service provider. They adjust the frequency with their router and everything would be sorted. Hope this is helpful.
Thank you

Let me know if the tutorial works for you. I have another guide to login into your IP router if that doesn't work.

Well,
I have finally done it. It works now. Thank you everyone for all your help. You guys are amazing and I will definitely come back here if I have any other problems.

feenalauren,
Did you take the time to check the date of the OP or the info in my reply #38, you would be far better helping in current threads if you can rather than replying to threads where you will not get any feedback from the OP.
