So since the last few months i have been having a tonne of BSOD messages. They range anywhere from IRQL_NOT_EQUAL......to DRIVER_NOT_FOUND. Sometimes it says the name of a driver and sometimes it doesnt.and the names of the drivers also ranges so please help. I'm attaching my .dmp files. MY problem is similar to this http://www.geekstogo...ys-problemhelp/ but not the same. It doesnt always say tcpip.sys.

Hey, so i did the malware check thing and a tonne of thing showed up and were deleted. But that still didnt help my problem. So in a desperate attempt, I completely re-formatted my drive and installed Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x64.

During the installation I was encountoring so much problems. I couldnt get past one specific step. So all i did was open of my computer case and removed one of the RAM sticks. And it worked! So I thought that was my culprit. But then again, after installing the 60-something updates ( maybe even before/ not sure ) the bluescreen started to show up again.

OH Yea, I installed BitDefender too.

So i ran BlueSCreenView on the dmp files and here are the results :

Was your computer physically connected to the internet (ethernet cable), while you were installing Windows?
I'm asking, because there is always a chance, there before Windows is totally installed and before a firewall kicks in, you could get reinfected.

When i was installing windows, it didnt work the first few times. So i took out everthing that waws plugged into the computer exclusing mose/keyobad and power plug. So i doubt I am infected. It is probably hardware. Even my Bitdefender virus scan was clean. But now I can no longer even access my computer because it crashes everytime so ii have to reply from another one.

BTW, is there any way we could talk live? such as msn messenger? Because I really want to get this over with as school starts in 2 weeks.

Start with testing basic components...

Run hard drive diagnostics: http://www.tacktech....ay.cfm?ttid=287 (or http://www.bleepingc...rive diagnostic)
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn .iso file to a CD (select "Write image file to disc" option), and make the CD bootable.

NOTE. If your hard drive is made by Toshiba, unfortunately, you're out of luck, because Toshiba doesn't provide any diagnostic tool.

A. If you have more than one RAM module installed, try starting/running computer with one RAM stick at a time.

NOTE Keep in mind, the manual check listed above is always superior to the software check, listed below. DO NOT proceed with memtest, if you can go with option A

B. If you have only one RAM stick installed...
...run memtest...

1. Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)
2. Unzip downloaded memtest86+-....iso.zip file.
3. Inside, you'll find memtest86+-....iso file.
4. Download, and install ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/
5. Insert blank CD into your CD drive.
6. Open ImgBurn, and click on Write image file to disc
7. Click on Browse for a file... icon:



8. Locate memtest86+-....iso file, and click Open button.
9. Click on ImgBurn green arrow to start burning bootable memtest86 CD:



10. Once the CD is created, boot from it, and memtest will automatically start to run.

The running program will look something like this depending on the size and number of ram modules installed:




It's recommended to run 5-6 passes. Each pass contains very same 8 tests.

This will show the progress of the test. It can take a while. Be patient, or leave it running overnight.

The most important item here is the “errors” line. If you see ANY errors, even one, most likely, you have bad RAM.
