How about your machine how is it responding now?


The event view some errors can be ignored some not.

I think it is booting faster. It is hard to tell. The desktop always has come up quickly, but it is more difficult to tell when clicking on an icon will actually get a response.

The link you provided seems to suggest that the error really isn't that critical - the code is just an indication that Windows is taking a while to boot. The boot time isn't bad - < 5 minutes until I can actually use the PC for something. But, it used to be much faster.

Thanks for your help, and I will consider this issue solved (at least for now)!

Well it is always good to defragment your Hdd and clean your temp files regular.

http://www.auslogics...efrag/download/ Just do not install anything that comes bundled with the program and do not use any other software only the defrag.

Run the defrag once a month and run tfc.exe daily.

Run the scans above and remove what they find once a week just make sure to update prior to scanning.
