It should be in the settings or if you right click on the little icon down by the clock there should be disable or turn off option.

Yes but only after you try your program while it is disabled to see if it goes through. If it does work then you will most likely have to set up exceptions in the pro versions for that port to be used. I am not a malware expert so I can't tell you how to change the settings. BTW what anti virus do you use as that may be part of the issue also. Is it a free or paid version?

In some av and malware programs they have the ability to setup a firewall, to scan your internet and IP, to scan your network if you have more then one machine at home.

If either is scanning the internet then turn that part of the program off. If both have a firewall setup then we need to figure out which one to turn off the firewall.
