does the ASUS GeForce GTX 750 1GB DDR5 OC HDMI DVI VGA PCIe work in a Hp p6 2050a computer? Can I open it up and jam it in? 

Or am i missing something... is it harder than that? o.O

Yes, the GTX 750 and 750ti will be OK in your system   They are short and powered from the PCI-E slot, so don't require an additional power cable, which is fortunate as your system only has a 300W power supply.

It does take a little more care than just jamming it in though.   If you need more help, let us know.
