Hey! I started a similar thread on an account that i forgot and the budget was 1500$ , but it now is 2500$. I don't have anything yet except the OS and Monitor, mouse and keyboard. I also need headphones. I don't have specific games i want to play, but i really want the performance.

You mention gaming in your OP but can you tell us what other type/s of use the computer will be used for, school or office work, CAD, rendering videos etc, the type of intended use will determine if an i5 CPU and 8GB of Ram is enough or an i7 and 16GB or more Ram would be more appropriate,  an i5 CPU, 8GB of Ram and a MB that will accept more Ram should it be required in the future is all that you need for gaming, an i7 CPU and 16GB or more Ram will be a waste of financial resources if the build is only for gaming as such specs are presently only required for CAD, games programming and professional video rendering etc.
