Hello!

I am desperate.  I have tried to solve this issue for weeks to no avail.

I often go into a community chat that requires java to run, as well as just various java-using sites, and it always has popped up the usual warning, are you sure you want to run? yes, and the do you want to update? and I always said remind me later.  Suddenly a few weeks ago, it seemed to force me to update it, or at least, it just started happening.  Ever since then, not only will Java not run, but it freezes any browser I try to use with it (chrome, safari, opera, firefox).

I used to be really good at messing with my PC issues, but I have a macbook pro I got a few years ago and I can't figure this issue out.  I have googled and tried everything that I could find but nothing has worked.

Please help me!
