Just wondering if it is just me or not......

I have Microsoft Security Essentials and the latest update will not fully download, It takes hours to download it acts like it is froze but when you give it time it comes up with an error saying it could not download the latest bla bla bla. Do i need to download a new copy of the program or is there something im missing? Thanks for any and all help.

I completely uninstall MSE and then reinstall the program. I would use a uninstaller that removes every trace of MSE, such as the free version of Revo Uninstaller, or IObit's uninstaller.
