In windows 10 I have in my tool bar extension Free Threaded XML DOM Document 4.0, XML SCHEMA Cache 4.0, XXL HTTP 4.0, KML DATA SOURCE OBJECT 4.0.(not verified) Microsoft. Do I need them and what are they for? Where did they come from?

What web browser?  If IE, I don't have any of them. Try disabling them. If no problems leave them disabled or remove them.
