I am working on my daughter’s computer, a Toshiba Portege R835 Windows 7-64, after she install Windows 10 update and did a rollback to Windows 7. Now none of the internet browsers will connect to the internet, IE, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. Network connection scans OK and I have tried everything I am capable of.

Also the Network Adaptor section in Device Manager does not have any errors.

Hello,

Can you try connecting in safe mode with networking.

Restart the computer during restart keep tapping the F8 Key. You should get a black screen with white letters.
Using the arrow keys select "SafeMode with Networking" then hit enter on keyboard. try to connect to this site only. Do not surf.

Also how are you connected, router, modem, wireless, direct connection (Ethernet),

Rebooted in Safe Mode with Network and no luck. The commuter that I responding to you on is connected to the network that I am try to connect my daughters computer on, using wireless DSL router/modem

Right-click flush.bat and select "Run as Administrator" Your computer will reboot.

Run the flush.bat and nothing changed, still unable to access internet, even tried to see if I could access modem/router admin, i.e. 192.168.0.1, works on this computer be still get page un available on the other computer. Tried in both wireless and direct connected to router.

Open Device Manager, expand Network Adapters.

Right click on the wireless device and select Uninstall (don't uninstall driver if asked).

Reboot.

 

Windows will rediscover the wireless and reload the driver. See if that fixes the problem.

Uninstalled wireless adaptor and rebooted, everything reinstalled but no difference. Still unable to access internet. Still get this page can't be displayed and the troubleshooting couldn't find any problems.

Try these two commands from a command prompt, open command prompt run as administrator

1. Run command prompt.
2. Type netsh winsock reset > ENTER:
3. The following message should be seen: "Successfully reset the Winsock Catalog. You must restart the computer in order to complete the reset."
4. Restart computer.

and

netsh int ip reset reset.log hit >enter

You need to right click on command prompt and choose "Run as administrator"

Click start, in the search box type cmd, right click on it "Run as administrator"

Paste this command onto it netsh winsock reset then hit enter on keyboard.

Run the two netsh commands under admin., right clicked on command prompt, and everything is working. I am able to access the internet.

TCP/IP stack Winsock settings in Windows may get corrupted, causing errors and problems with Internet or network connectivity.

That appears to be what occurred.
