Using speedyfox lets clean up the Firefox data base,

Download speedyfox for windows Save the file to the desktop, see link below, this is a zip file after the download you will end up with a zipper folder on the desktop

Right click on the zipperered folder on desktop and choose extract all, a new folder will be created, double click it to open. Inside the folder double click on the speedyfox icon, when it opens click on optimize then click optimize again. Have the Firefox browser closed when you run speedyfox.

Looks like things have improved, but not a 100%, if you're unhappy with the results and it's still running badly I'd consider taking it in for repair as I'm out of ideas on this one.
