I was downloading a android emulator (leapdroid) and during installation it asked me to select file location. I wasn't sure what to do so I just selected what I thought was the right place. I never finished the install becAuse nothing happened after the file selection and I got busy doing something else. I later returned to my computer and the first thing I noticed was a lot of desktop icons were missing. I had only explorer left as a browser and when selected it pops up real quick and disappears. My start menu is unresponsive and I have no access to some of the file locations I once did.

I don't know what I did or how to fix it. I never created a backup of my system or files and I am operAting on Windows 10. What should I do?????

I don't mind restoring to factory default but in past this has made my problem worse so I'm hesitant to try it.

Any help is appreciated.
